Dwayne "The The Rock" Johnson was born in the year 1972 into a family of wrestlers. World Wrestling Entertainment. He entered the wrestling ring alongside World Wrestling Ent. (W.W.E.) The heavyweight title was won multiple times. Johnson was able to transform his renown in the ring into a successful career as a film actor, with roles on The Mummy Returns and Tooth Fairy. His future films include the HBO series Ballers. He also has notable roles as Jumanji and Fast & Furious characters. And he is the Maui voice in Disney film Moana. We can only say that we're grateful to have a superstar like him. Dwayne Douglas Johnson, better known as his stage name The Rock is an American actor, businessman and wrestler. Although he was born to wrestlers from his own family, he made his name by his game. Johnson was born in Hayward California on May 2 1972. He's the son of the professional wrestler Rocky Johnson and his mother Ata. In the 60s and 70s, his maternal grandpa, Peter Maivia rose to prominence in the professional world as the High Chief. Johnson spent time together with his father and mother for during a large portion of his childhood as they watched the wrestler. Johnson started playing football throughout his senior years, and soon he was awarded an all-inclusive scholarship at the University of Miami where he was a star. He graduated with a Bachelor of General Studies degree in criminology and physiology the same year.
